Electropermanent lifting magnets

Electropermanent load lifters consist of two main components: Permanent magnets and an electric coil. The permanent magnet generates a strong magnetic field that attracts the load. The electric coil generates an additional magnetic field. The BRAILLON control system reverses the polarity to magnetize and release the workpiece.

Electropermanent load lifters offer a number of advantages over other types of magnets, including

- High safety: electropermanent load lifters hold the workpiece even in the event of a power failure. This provides employees with the highest level of protection.
- Wide range of applications: Electropermanent load lifters can be used in a variety of industries and in automation.
- Long service life: Electropermanent load lifters are very durable and require little maintenance.

Electropermanent load lifters are used in a variety of industries, including:
- Automotive industry: electropermanent load lifters are used in the automotive industry to lift and move car parts.
- Steel industry: Electropermanent load lifters are used in the steel industry to lift and move steel parts.
- Construction industry: Electropermanent lifting magnets are used in the construction industry to lift and move building materials.

When purchasing electropermanent lifting magnets, you should consider the following criteria:
- Load capacity: The load capacity of the magnet should be sufficient for the load to be lifted.
- Contact surface: The size of the contact surface is an important criterion when determining the holding force - Surface: If the workpiece has a surface with an air gap, the holding force is greatly reduced. The calculation of the required adhesive force must therefore be adapted accordingly.
- Magnetic field strength: The magnetic field strength of the magnet should be sufficient to hold the load.
- Dimensions: The dimensions of the magnet should match the local conditions.
- Operating temperature: The operating temperature of the magnet should correspond to the local conditions.
