Maintenance-free: Permanent magnetic chucks do not require any special maintenance. In a permanent magnetic chuck, the holding force is generated mechanically. The magnets are moved around inside the magnetic chuck by the indexing lever. The magnetic field remains within the chuck when the workpiece is released. When the workpiece is clamped onto the magnetic chuck, the magnetic field flows into the workpiece, which can then be machined.
